Arch of Constantine


Erected between the Colosseum and the Palatine Hill in 315 A.D. to celebrate the victory of Constantine I over Maxentius in the socalled
"Battle of the Milvian bridge" on October 28, 312 A.D, this triumphal arch is one of three still standing in Rome today.
